Obituary of Mark G. McKinley

Mark McKinley, 50, of Riverview, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Friday, November 25, 2005. Born in Portage La Prairie, AB. He is the son of M. Edith (Hamilton) McKinley and the late Eldon McKinley. A business man, Mark was a representive for Weir Pumps of Canada prior to his illness. He loved sports and playing golf, he was an avid fisherman and was a member of the Albert County Hunters Association. He will sadly missed by his wife Rita McKinley, his children, Meaghan, Courtney and Matthew at home; his mother, Edith McKinley and mother-in-law, Annie Braam of both of Upper Coverdale, siblings, Michael (Jeannie) of Calgary; Lynn of Toronto, Lana of Riverview, Dawn (Laurie) of Salisbury and Christina (Dan) of Riverview; several nieces and nephews. Mark was a true friend to all that knew him, he will be fondly remembered by his many buddies in the Miramichi and his friends from around the Liars Table. At Mark's request cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life and sharing of memories will be held at the Riverview Funeral Home 214 Pine Glen Rd. on Wednesday, November 30, 2005 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's memory made to Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
